Things to bring when camping
Shelter - Tent, tarps & ropes, ground cloth (all available for rent)
Bedding - Sleeping bags, blankets, pillows
Cooking - Food, drinks and snacks,  water to drink, utensils including a can opener and potato peeler, cutlery , plastic / tin plates-cups-bowls, cutting board, containers for storage, pots & pans, gas stove (available for rent), matches, ICE, paper towel, rubbish bags and detergent for cleaning up.
Table and chairs
Clothes include your swimmers, plus a spare change of clothes and a towel
Toiletries including sunscreen and medications
Until the amenities block is built, you will need to bring toilet paper, a camp shower (available for rent) portaloo (available for rent)
Whistle, compass, batteries, backpack, insect repellant, lantern, radio, first aid kit, binoculars, torch, rope for clothes line, your camp permit and ID
Location: Travel 26km west from Amamoor township along the Amamoor Creek Road to Amamoor Creek camping area. About 10km west of Gympie Muster camping area.
Access: The access road is unsealed and suitable for conventional vehicles.
Number of sites: Intend for 20 Secluded separately defined sites.
Campsites are suitable for: tent camping beside your car; caravans; camper trailers; campervans; motor homes; buses; large groups.
Campsite surface: Grass.
Facilities: Water (unsuitable for drinking without treatment as it is pumped from the creek and may contain organisms that can cause illness),  individual fire rings (bring your own clean-milled firewood), walking tracks.
Open fires: Allowed (except when fire bans apply) only in fire rings provided. Fuel stoves are recommended.
Generators: Allowed

Mobile phone coverage: Not available. The nearest pay phone is located on the back of the Cedar Grove camping area registration stand approximately 14kms.
